Private China tours with Spanish- and English-speaking guides

71Asia Tours is a China-based tour operator, wholly owned by the UNODEJULIO group in Madrid, Spain. We design and operate private tours, day trips, entrance tickets, airport and intercity transfers and Yangtze river cruises across China — Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an, Chengdu, Chongqing, Zhangjiajie, Tibet and Hong Kong — always with licensed Spanish- or English-speaking guides, hotel pickup where noted, instant online confirmation and no commission-driven shopping stops.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a visa to visit China?

Many nationalities can enter China visa-free for up to 30 days, and 240-hour visa-free transit applies on many international routings. Requirements change often — tell us your passport and itinerary and we will confirm the current rules before you book.

How do payments work in China?

Alipay and WeChat Pay work with foreign Visa/Mastercard and are accepted everywhere, from taxis to street food. Cards and cash are rarely needed. Your card is charged in EUR on our site; in China you pay local suppliers in CNY, always included in your itinerary.

Will I need to speak Chinese?

No. Every 71Asia Tours tour includes a licensed guide in Spanish or English who handles tickets, hotels, restaurants and logistics. Most signs in airports and metro stations have English, and your guide is a message away at all times.

When is the best time to travel to China?

April–May and September–November offer the best weather almost everywhere. Avoid Golden Week (1–7 October) and Chinese New Year: prices rise and sights are very crowded. Tibet is best from May to October.

Can you arrange trips to Tibet?

Yes. Tibet requires a Tibet Travel Permit issued by the local tourism bureau, which we arrange for you — apply at least 15–20 days before departure with a scanned passport. Foreign travellers must join a guided tour, which is exactly what we do.

Do WhatsApp, Google and Instagram work in China?

They are blocked by default. Hotel Wi-Fi works normally, but for maps, chat and social media on the go we recommend an international eSIM with roaming (we can advise) or installing a VPN before departure. Your guide can also share a local hotspot.

How far in advance should I book?

Our tours confirm instantly through the booking engine. For high-demand entries — the Forbidden City and summit sections of the Great Wall — book 1–2 weeks ahead in high season. Private transfers and guides can usually be arranged at shorter notice.

What is included in the price?

Licensed private guide, entrance tickets shown on each tour page, and door-to-door transfers where listed. No commission-driven shopping stops, ever. Flights and hotels are quoted separately unless the tour states otherwise — ask us for a full package.

How do I use a Gift Card?

Buy one at 71asia.com/gift-card — choose the amount and pay securely, and an email with the gift card code and a personal link arrives in minutes. Forward that email (or just share the link) to the person receiving the gift. To redeem it, start a booking in our booking widget, go to the Order summary during checkout, enter the code in the “Gift Card” field and press Apply — it can cover the booking in full or in part. If the card is worth more than the order, the remaining balance stays on the card: the same code can be used again at checkout, and the balance can be spread across multiple orders until it reaches €0. Only one gift card can be used per order.
